Abstract
This study intends to investigate the dimensions of space socialization in neighborhoods with a pre-designed physical model in mashhad city of iran. The research indicators include 5 categories physical, spacing task, social, and environmental comfort and in 22 variables. The study area was Sajjad neighborhood of Mashhad and the study scale of the neighborhood units located in it include Amin and Mina. In the first step, by completing 385 questionnaires from residents, the attendance status of the public space of the neighborhood was assessed. The results of using the " U Mann Whitney" test showed that there were significant differences at the neighborhood level regarding the presence of space. In the next step, the status of the criteria affecting attendance was tried to be assessed using field observation, inferential statistics, spatial analysis and spacing task analysis. The results of this evaluation showed that criteria such as population distribution, types of uses, diversity of uses and hierarchy of roads, due to the impact of physical design, do not play a role in the occurrence of spatial societal differences in the neighborhood. In contrast, criteria such as the status of urban furniture and related services, as well as spacing task criteria have the greatest impact on intra-local differences in space socialization.
