Abstract
Housing plays an effective role in the development of individual identity, social relations and collective goals of people as a determining element in the social organization of space. Today, Iranian cities are facing housing poverty regarding economic, physical and social dimensions. In areas where low-income groups and vulnerable sections of society live, the situation is unfavorable. The current research is applied in terms of purpose and descriptive and analytical in terms of methodology. To set the theoretical foundations, documentary sources were studied and the raw data of the research was extracted from the statistical blocks of Bijar city in 2006 and 2016. To analysis the data SPSS was used and the factor analysis model applied to show the interdependencies of data and assumed that complex variables reduced to a few important dimensions. Ten indicators were divided into two factors for the period of 2006 and six indicators were divided into two factors for the period of 2016, Also, by producing a zoning map through GIS, it was found that the areas of housing poverty in the period of 2006 are in the central parts of Boulevard neighborhood, the southwestern part of Badamestan and Farhi neighborhoods, and the southern part of the city, Sarab neighborhood. The neighborhoods of Almasieh and Yaramjeh in eastern part, and in the southeastern part of Rig Siah in the period of 2016. While the housing welfare zones in 2006 included the eastern parts of Yaramjeh neighborhood, the northeastern parts of Takht Sofeli and Takht Alia neighborhoods, the western part of Mahdieh neighborhood and the northwestern part of Halvai neighborhood, and in 2016, in the northeastern parts of Takht neighborhood. Regarding the percentage of changes over 10 years, it can be concluded that the housing situation has not been improved.
