1. Authors must submit their article through the journal’s online system, including completing author information, uploading the manuscript according to the journal’s required format, and submitting the Conflict of Interest and Commitment Forms.
  2.  The editor-in-chief and the editorial board review the manuscript and, if necessary, refer it to the section editor.
  3.  If needed, the manuscript is returned to the author for structural revisions.
  4.  The manuscript is sent to three expert  and independent reviewers in the relevant subject area with a 30-day deadline for review.
  5.  Reviewers assess the manuscript, complete the evaluation form, and submit their comments and recommendation to the editor. At this stage, one of the following outcomes may occur:
    • a.  If two reviewers reject the manuscript, it is withdrawn from the journal’s process and the author is informed.
    • b.  If at least two reviewers request major or minor revisions, the manuscript is returned to the author for revision.
    • c.  If reviewers fail to complete the review within the deadline, the manuscript will be reassigned to new reviewers.
  6.  Authors must resubmit the revised manuscript along with a response letter addressing the reviewers’ comments within two weeks.
  7. The revised manuscript is reviewed by the final evaluator to ensure that all suggested corrections have been made.
  8.  The final reviewers submit their recommendation regarding acceptance or rejection.
  9.  The final decision is confirmed in the editorial board meeting.
  10.  The author is informed of the final decision. If accepted, the manuscript proceeds to the payment stage.
  11.  Authors of accepted articles must pay 4,000,000 IRR to the university’s research office to cover review, editing, and publication costs.
  12. The waiting time for publication depends on the number of accepted articles in the queue.

It is important to note that throughout the entire review process, the double-blind review policy is strictly observed: authors do not know the identity of reviewers, and reviewers are not informed of the authors’ identities. The average time for initial evaluation is less than 10 days, and the total average duration for the review process ranges from 4 to 6 months.
