Abstract
One of the duties of city managers is to provide services needed by citizens at the city level and to promote these services in different urban areas. Among the urban areas that have the least amenities and services are the marginal areas. One of the recent approaches in the field of urban management that considers the well-being of citizens is good urban governance. Based on this, the aim of the current research is to provide solutions to improve services in the urban equipment sector (police stations and fire stations) based on good urban governance in Shahid Rajaei neighborhood of Mashhad. The main research method is descriptive-analytical. The statistical population is the citizens of Shahid Rajaei neighborhood of Mashhad. The sample size was determined based on the statistical blocks of 2015 and Cochran's formula of 384 people. Among the indicators of good urban governance, 6 indicators (participation, legality, consensual orientation, strategic vision, decentralization, justice) are examined as independent variables and urban equipment services (police centers and fire stations) as dependent variables. were placed The information was collected through a researcher-made questionnaire. Smart PLS software was used for statistical calculations and research data analysis, and research information was collected in two ways - library and field. The results of the research show that the indicators of consensual orientation and strategic vision and participation respectively have the greatest effect on the improvement of services in the urban equipment sector (police centers and fire stations) at the level of Shahid Rajaei neighborhood of Mashhad.
