These spaces are a manifestation of the social life of the city and therefore creating spaces that attract people; It can help the social sustainability of the city. The purpose of this research is to investigate the amount and quality of attendance and the factors affecting it in three of the main streets of Qaen city. In this research, field data was collected using a questionnaire. The statistical population is citizens aged 15 and above in Qaen city. The sample size is 350 people and the random sampling method is simple. The results showed that the attendance of citizens in terms of the number of times of attendance is mostly weekly and then monthly, and daily attendance is less frequent. The quality of attendance is also low, and these streets are mostly places where essential activities are performed, and and elective activities are less frequent. These streets are less places for social activities and therefore are not considered sociable. In general, the quality of attendance is average. The results of multiple linear regression also showed that the variables of land use and activity, protection, convenience to perform basic activities, visual quality, physical accessibility and social inclusion have an effect on the attendance rate of urban streets. Meanwhile, the role of protection and social access factors is more than other factors. The one-sample t-test also showed that the physical-environmental quality of the streets is generally average. Considering the impact of physical-environmental variables on the presence of citizens, upgrading and improving these variables in the streets of Qaen city can help to increase the attendence of these public spaces.
