Abstract
purpose of this research is to investigate and analyze the impact factors of peri-urban agricultural development on reducing land use conflicts in the northeast of Mashhad city research is applied in terms of purpose and descriptive-analytical in terms of nature. Data collection was done by document and field methods of completing the questionnaire made by researcher, validity of questionnaire was obtained from opinions of experts and specialists and reliability check was obtained from Cronbach's alpha test in the variable of user conflicts 0.805 and in the variable of urban agriculture development0.941.sample size of the statistical population is144 specialists in the field of urban planning and agriculture, who were selected purposefully and with theoretical saturation. In order to analyze the data, descriptive and inferential (path analysis, Sperman and Friedman) statistical tests and Smart Pls model have been used. findings of the research showed that social factors with an average of(4.73), economy with(3.58), political and planning factors(3.37),physical and technical factors(1.88) and biophysical factors with(1.44) Each of them, respectively had the greatest impact on conflicts and changes in the use of agricultural land in the peri-urban areas in the northeast of Mashhad metropolis.Correlation results showed there is a significant and positive relationship between the sustainable development of peri-urban agriculture and the reduction of land use conflicts. Based on the finding of PLS software, it can be stated that final factor of the benefits of urban agriculture on the reduction of land use conflicts is 0.334.Therefore, first step to deal with the excessive development of the city in the peri-urban fertile lands of the studied area is necessary to prevent land use change and destruction of agricultural and natural lands on the edge of the city as much as possible.
